How Every Flydone Is Built & Tested
From unibody frame to final check — the quality steps behind every bike we ship.
Trust is built in the factory, not the brochure. This is a look at how Flydone turns raw components into trail-ready bikes — and the checks every model passes before it reaches your driveway.
1. Frame: One Piece, Built to Last
The MT2 PRO, MT2, and MT1 share a unibody high-carbon-steel frame — a single rigid structure rather than bolted sections. That means fewer weak points and a planted feel on hard landings. The MT2 PRO\MT1 adds inverted hydraulic forks tuned for bigger hits.
2. Motors: Hub vs. Mid-Drive
| Type | Models | Why it's used |
|---|---|---|
| Hub motor | Y18, R8, MT1 | Simple, low-maintenance, smooth |
| Mid-drive | MT2, MT2 PRO | Centered weight, strong climb & control |
Every motor is torque-tested and balanced before assembly. The MT2 PRO's motor is validated for sustained climbs without overheating.
3. Battery Safety
4. The Final Check
- Brakes bed-in and pressure-tested (hydraulic on MT2 PRO).
- NFC start verified on every model — MT2 PRO, MT2, MT1, R8, and Y18.
- Display and app functions confirmed (MT1 TFT, R8 app).
- A short functional ride simulates real load.
When something does go wrong, our Warranty & Support program and spare-parts network keep you rolling.
